Breaking Barriers
Vision challenges conformity. Conformity creates conventions. Conventions build barriers that prevent a better future. But when many people who believe in that vision come together, they remove the barriers to progress. By removing the financial, technological, safety and environmental risks, and by removing the wasted time, stress, and complications of travel, we are taking the world where it wants to go. We're moving the world faster forward. Get on board
Team Vegapod Hyperloop is a dynamic, student-led initiative incubated at MIT-WPU, comprising of 40 talented students from various disciplines, dedicated towards advancing hyperloop technology. We craft sub-scale hyperloop prototypes, incorporating cutting-edge technologies such as levitation, contactless propulsion, regenerative braking, power electronics, and cooling systems.

European Hyperloop Week

The European Hyperloop Week (EHW) is an essential annual event that aims to advance hyperloop technology. This dynamic gathering fosters collaboration among students, industry leaders, academia, and government representatives.
At EHW, participants engage in competitions, conferences, workshops, demonstrations, exhibitions, and social events, showcasing the collective efforts to innovate in the hyperloop space. During the event, university teams, including Vegapod Hyperloop, present their prototype components and full-scale pods to a panel of expert judges. Some teams even compete on installed tracks, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in hyperloop design and functionality.
EHW aims to accelerate the development and full-scale implementation of hyperloop systems, reinforcing its potential as the fifth mode of transportation and providing Vegapod Hyperloop a platform to contribute to this transformative vision.
